Humberto Duvauchelle

Humberto Duvauchelle Concha was born on november 14, 1929 in Bulnes, Concepción, Chile. He was the son of Humberto Duvauchelle a businessman and Amandina Concha a pianist. In Concepción (Chile) he founded with his brother Hector the Teatro Universitario and the Teatro Libre de la Federación de Estudiantes de la Universidad de Concepción. In 1973 after the coup, he went to exile in Venezuela, where he works in theater and cinema. When he returns to Chile in 1987 returns to the theater as an actor and teacher. Founded the Theater Company "Los Cuatro" and was a member of the Teatro Experimental de la Universidad de Chile. He was married to Gabriela Schanz Fischer and Orieta Escámez. He died on january 11, 2019 in Santiago de Chile.
