Biography

Matthew Davis is a Writer/Director whose eclectic career has also seen him as Cinematographer, Editor, Prop Master and Art Director. Davis wrote SKULDUGGERY, the Silver Winning Family Film in the 2018 PAGE International Screenwriting Awards, and is developing the screenplay as an Episodic for Bayou D'or Productions and Ultraspect Media. Davis' screenplays have been Finalists and Semi-Finalists in the Nicholl Fellowship, Austin Film Festival, and Project Greenlight. Drawn to comedy, Davis directed the first season of the (2018) sitcom, "Humor Me," and has written three Sitcom pilots and directed several comedy sketches. In addition to his scripted directing, Davis has directed hundreds of hours of live performances with audiences up to 80,000 (ROLLING LOUD 2019, Miami). Davis has his Master of Fine Arts degree from American Film Institute, where he met his intrepid wife and production partner, Allison Dunn who is an accomplished Film and Television Editor.
