Biography

Jacqueline Danno has Breton origins. She leaves school to try her luck in the world of theatre. She gets major parts in plays such as Sartre's "Huis Clos" or "Les Oiseaux de la Lune". She is also a good singer and performs in cabarets from 1959 on. In 1960, she becomes the discovery of "Le Club des Onze". She sings at Bobino in 1961. She occasionally participates in movies, one of her most memorable appearances being Mme Plantier, the hysterical wife of Radio Plus manager, in Jean Yanne's satiric piece "Tout le monde il est beau, tout le monde il est gentil" (1972).
