Henri Barges

Henri Bargès has been directing short movies since he was 20, and commercials since he was 25. In 1993, he directed an almost underground feature movie : ''Half Spirit'' which has won many awards in US (underground New York Festival, Chicago, Sundance, Houston...) ''I have never done anything else than direct movies.'' Starting with violent commercial movies leads him to be seen as a trash director and allows him to win his first golden lion in Cannes (for amnesty international). He later developed a passion for special effects and became an ''image'' and action director. As he did not want to be too easily classified, he started directing second degree comedies and automobile films.
