Bill Bambridge was born on August 18, 1892 in Papeete, Tahiti, French Polynesia. He was an actor and assistant director, known for Mutiny on the Bounty (1935) and Tabu: A Story of the South Seas (1931). He was previously married to Alice Vaituatini Varney and Doris Hyacinthe Laidlaw. He died on January 12, 1950 in Papeete, Tahiti.
