He became an entertainer on radio, television and in night clubs. He joined ASCAP in 1929, and his other popular-music compositions include "Goodbye Eyes of Blue"; "The Frisco Rag"; "I Love My Wife, But Oh You Kid"; "Follow The Crowd On a Sunday"; "Can't You See I'm Lonely?"; "Baby Doll"; and "Nellie Dear".
