Coca Andronescu

Coca Andronescu was born in the town of Patarlagele in Buzau County, Romania. She graduated in 1953 from Cluj Theater Institute, where she worked as an actress for a while. Later moved to Bucharest where she was part of the team of actors at the National Theater. Although theater was her first love, she also played notable roles in feature films/TV roles. She formed a famous duo alongside Octavian Cotescu playing the roles of "Tantza and Costel," a very comical young couple in a TV series that ran on the national television network between 1962 and 1973.
