Michael A. Allowitz

Michael Allowitz born and raised in LA, left film school to pursue a career in film when he was offered a job with a young Commercial production company. He quickly rose from a Production Assistant to an Assistant Director working in all facets of production from Commercials to Indy Films. During a 2 year hiatus from the business Michael wrote, directed and edited a short film while living in France. He returned to the states with his eye on becoming a full time director. Once given the chance to direct on The Vampire Diaries he delivered and soon became a freelance TV director bouncing around to several different shows directing several different genres.
