John Boyle born in Memphis in 1891. Highly well-known and prolific cameraman and cinematographer, working on more than 150 movies from 1915, including 'Salome' (1918), 'The Queen of Sheba' (1921), 'Skycraper' (1928), 'Jericho' (1937) and his last film 'Carson City' in 1957. Dark solid man who appeared as an actor in at least two films, the first playing a support in 'The Yellow Passport' a drama directed by Carl Rosenheimer, starring Edwin August and Clara Kimbell Young for the World Film Company in 1916, the following year played Garvey in 'Kick-In' a crime thriller directed by George Fitzmaurice, starring William Courtenay and Mollie King at the Astra Film Company. died in Hollywood in 1959 age 68.
