A 5th generation, native Californian, Sam Boyer was born and raised in the epicenter of film making, surfing, and what we now call Extreme Sports. At the young age of 21, Sam created, directed and produced the first ever extreme sports show, "Board TV", which combined Surfing, Skateboarding and Snowboarding. Soon the world caught on to the "extreme" frenzy and Boyer was on the forefront. Since then, he has served as Executive Producer on the world's first ever 3D television network. This pioneering effort resulted in his creating, directing and writing three Omni award-winning shows. Today, Boyer is considered the "Go To Guy" when it comes to extreme sports, 3D and storytelling as a director, writer and editor. Most recently, Boyer was honored at X-dance for his film, "Flipped Out", which chronicled the birth of the first freestyle motocross back flip". His other credits include numerous documentaries, films and screenplays. Boyer is currently working on the highly anticipated HD supercross, film, "The Great Indoors", due out later this year. Boyer is recognized as a multi talented, Director, Cinematographer, Editor and screenwriter. He lives and surfs in his hometown of Malibu, California, with his wife, International actress, Yvonne DeLaRosa.
