Bosshardt has been a professional make-up artist since 1982. He began his career working as a Special Effects make-up artist, but, to make ends meet, took jobs doing make-up and hair for the adult film industry, where he discovered an aptitude for glamour and beauty make-up. As the '80s progressed, he became one of the top make-up artists in the adult field. (As well as an occasional character actor.) In 1994, he joined the crew of the television series Baywatch (1989) as make-up artist and hair stylist to Pamela Anderson. He remained her personal make-up artist for several years. During that time, he also began working regularly for Playboy Magazine where he contributed to over 100 pictorials, as well as covers and centerfolds. Some notable pictorials include, Carmen Electra, Jaime Pressly, Heidi Mark, and The Women of Iceland. In 1998, he became the head of the make-up department for Pamela Anderson's hit television series V.I.P. (1998). In 2003 he joined the "Dr. Phil" as make-up artist for guests of the show. He continues to freelance in television, film and print.
