Michel Boisrond was born on October 9, 1921 in Châteauneuf-en-Thymerais, Eure-et-Loir, France. He was a director and assistant director, known for Three Murderesses (1959), Le Samouraï (1967) and Naughty Girl (1956). He was previously married to Marie-Christine Barrault. He died on November 10, 2002 in La-Celle-Saint-Cloud, Yvelines, France.
