Nicola Black

Nicola Black is a BAFTA award-winning filmmaker. She is an executive producer, producer and director for Channel 4 and the BBC. She is Managing Director of Blackwatch Media Ltd. Her credits include producing/directing Factual Entertainment series - 'Banned in the UK' (C4) ; Arts series - 'Post Mortem' (C4); Music series - 'Mirrorball' (C4) and Executive Producing C4's Digital Animation scheme 'Mesh' - recipient of NESTA funding. Nicola also directs single documentaries such as 'White Jazz', following James Elroy's quest to find his mother's murderer; 'Designer Vaginas', an unflinching look at extreme cosmetic surgery and 'Tribal Cops', documenting Native America law enforcement on the reservations of New Mexico.
