Horst Bienek

Horst Bienek was born on May 7, 1930 in Gleiwitz, Upper Silesia, Germany [now Gliwice, Slaskie, Poland]. He was a writer and director, known for The Cell (1971), Schloß Königswald (1988) and The First Polka (1979). He died on December 7, 1990 in Munich, Bavaria, Germany.
