Nailah Johnson

Nailah Johnson was born and raised in Silver Spring, MD. When she was a kid her mom took her to an open call audition for a Pop Tart commercial ever since that moment she knew she wanted to act (no the part wasn't her's but the feeling of auditioning was so fun!). After that she enrolled in Imagination Stage summer camp where she took part in the production of Aladdin. After this she went on to take acting classes in school while also dancing and training in the martial arts. She attended Community College in Maryland where she received her AA in General Studies. Shortly, after she transferred her credits to Pace University where she received her BA in Communication Studies. While in New York, Nailah took dance classes at Broadway Dance Center and studied acting. She also had the opportunity to intern at NBC Universal, PMK* BNC, and Columbia Records. Two weeks before graduation, she received a phone call that she had got a position as the talent assistant for PMK* BNC in their LA office so two days after graduation she boarded a plane to Los Angeles, CA for the first time in her life. Since being in the West Coast, Nailah has continued to take dance and acting classes but also getting her feet wet in Improv. She is no longer working as a talent assistant being that she's decided to dedicate all of her time to acting and dancing. When she is not taking classes are auditioning she writes for her blog.
