Sherilyn Rose

Sherilyn Rose was born in Richmond, VA as Sherilyn Rose Cheatham to loving parents and high school sweethearts, Eugene and Annette Cheatham. She has also performed under her formerly married name of Sherilyn Freeman. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education/Marketing from Old Dominion University, resided in Virginia Beach, VA, and lives in Los Angeles, CA with her daughter, Ciara Rose, a full scholarship college student and fellow actress who she is very proud of. Sherilyn spends her time acting and commercial modeling as often as she can but also enjoys international travel, healthy eating, and relaxing at the beach. Sherilyn signed with a modeling agency at age 16 and went on to develop a portfolio as a Runway Model, Spokesmodel, Fit Model, and Hair Model appearing on billboards, print ads and TV commercials. In the summer of 2007, Sherilyn was featured in her local Hampton Roads Virginia newspaper as a "Sexy Single", a document on dating in her area. In addition to taking time off to raise her daughter and enjoy motherhood as a single parent, she chose to pursue acting and has worked on several television sets in various television productions including Lifetime Television, CBN, Colonial Williamsburg, M2 Pictures, Coastal Video Productions, and Dominion Pictures. Sherilyn gives thanks and praises to God for His grace and favor allowing her to live and experience these wonderful blessings and joys in her life. She is ever grateful to the many that have assisted in any way to help develop, support, and advance her modeling and acting career.
