Biography

Born outside of the small town of Morehead, Kentucky to James and Pamelia (Baker) Thomas. Graduated from Rowan County Senior High School in Morehead before attending the University of Kentucky, initially as a Physics major before changing to a degree in Secondary Education with a focus on English. During his time in college, he worked as a resident advisor for the Office of Residence Life, eventually working as an Assistant Hall Director and Hall Director. Upon graduation, he briefly worked at Morehead State University before returning to work at his alma mater, the University of Kentucky, where he finished a Master of Science in Education with a focus on the Social and Philosophical Studies of Education. It was, however, during his employment at Morehead State University when he met Joe Lewis and Chad Jennings who would later become writing partners for both film, online, and book based projects. As of 2016, he is working on a book project involving a satirical look at the nature of the politics of education, continuing to write both non-fiction and fiction, and preparing to defend his dissertation for his PhD in education. He is the proud father of two children with his wife, Dana.
