Humberto Guizar

Humberto was born in East Los Angeles on June 20, 1956. He went to LA high schools, Franklin, Lincoln and Marshall. Humberto then went to Southern Colorado State College, Pueblo, Colorado under a special program for juvenile delinquents where he obtained his GED. From there Humberto went to California State University,Northridge. where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Chicano Studies and Political Science. He also obtained a bilingual-bi cultural secondary teaching credential from CSUN; after where he went to University of La Verne School of law. Humberto has his own law firm in Montebello, California and is a principal partner in his Tustin law firm of Guizar, Henderson & Carrazco. Successful high profile Civil rights & Personal injury Attorney, has obtained several multi-million dollar settlements and verdicts for victims of police misconduct and catastrophic personal injuries. Humberto is a Board member of the American Civil Liberties Union, (ACLU); gang Expert Witness-Community activist Recipient of Lifetime achievement award from the Department of Humanities, California State University in Northridge.
