Amanda Ryan

Amanda Danielle Ryan was born on September 26th, 1981 with her twin sister, Erin Ryan (XII)', in Ontario, Canada. She, along with her sister, were raised by their mother, Donna Ryan and step-father, Rod Franklin. At the age of 15, Amanda and her family moved from Mississauga, Ontario to Nova Scotia, Canada. Amanda attended Digby Regional high school and graduated in 2000 with the Law Award and Family Studies Award. In 2003, she attended Nova Scotia Community College, Kingstec and graduated with honors from the Early Childhood Studies program in Kentville, Nova Scotia. After working in the Early Childhood Education field, Amanda transitioned to the digital marketing industry in 2010. She was a co-host for a webcast called, "Get Your Social On" where she and her twin sister covered topics such as social media, online marketing, SEO, and reputation management. Amanda is passionate about digital marketing and her current position is the Director of Reputation Management at Wikimotive (2016). Amanda has always enjoyed the Arts and many of her hobbies include, painting, photography, poetry, playing guitar, and performing. In April 2016, she and her twin sister decided, on a whim, to try out for the "BigFoot Town" casting call in Berwick, Nova Scotia, where she landed her debut acting role as Desiree McCallister.
