Josciua Algeri

He was born in Seriate (Bergamo, Italy). When he was 16 he has been arrested and brought in a juvenile jail. During this period he discovered the passion for music and acting. He wrote a song, "A testa atla", and got an award at the Caltanissetta Festival. Freed in September 2014, he has been discovered by the filmmaker Claudio Giovannesi, who engaged him for his film "Fiore", after seeing him in a theatre performance in prison. The film has been screened at Cannes, selected in the "Quinzaine des Réalisateurs" section. In March 2017, he died in a road accident while he was driving his scooter: he slipped on the wet tarmac, violently hitting a car. He died on the blow. He was father of a baby girl.
