JC Rositas

JC Rositas was born in Arlington Heights, IL, in 1973 to Domingo and Linda Rositas. They lived in Illinois for a brief time before moving to Northwest Indiana, where he has been a resident ever since He discovered his passion for creating movies as a teenager in the mid-to-late '80's when he and his friends would produce their own various home movies with his parents' home video camera. He didn't have the opportunity to go into filmmaking until later in life, but he has no plans on stopping. He founded Crimson Night Productions (2015) while working on his first documentary, When The Walls Talk: The Whispers Estate Documentary (2017). He has a background in studio recording at 35th Street Studios in Chicago, IL (2013-15), where he was an apprentice. He is a member of Indiana Filmmakers Network (2018) and Chicago Filmmakers (2019), and he has recently founded ViviComp Media (2020). His passion is in cinematography, and he continually strives to learn and build upon this skill set.
