Charu Sharma

Charu Sharma, a filmmaker (producer-director) and writer based out of Mumbai. She was born in Lucknow on 10 sep 1976. Her father was a police officer and mother a housewife. She has completed her education from different parts of Uttar Pradesh. She has been a first class student throughout her career. She has done PG in English Literature from AGRA University. Also she has done Film & TV, Direction course from Mumbai. After completed her education she entered into research field. Where she has spended years as a research person in to social and market research. She has been a part of some National and Inter-National organisations like Unicef, World Bank, World Vision, Casp Plan, Ankur, Jagori, Nirantar and many more. As a research person she has been a part of analysing committee and report writer in all the studies and contributed her part for the betterment of society. From her early years, she has been a frequent writer. Later this interests of her came to an extent when she started writing for newspaper, magazines and online portals as well. Now she has a full fledged writing career where she is writing scripts and screenplay, concepts, campaign, short stories at commercial platform. Recently she has completed one of her novel, which is suppose to hit the market soon. Also she has planned for a film magazine with quality content on industry. This magazine would also be circulated in International parameters. She has also participated in a book for the Ministry of Defence, under the guidance of DTF.IN, Delhi. This book has 700 pages which caters the circulars of disabled people in country. From childhood she was a keen lover of films and wanted to make her career in Film Industry as a film maker. But with her all work and liabilities, it was not so easy. But she did not lost the hope and kept continued reading & Watching films of her idol film makers like "Satyajit Ray", "Guru Dutta", "Sehgal" etc. She always had a hope that one day she will achieve her destination. Then after a long period of time, in 2002 she came to Mumbai, Bollywood and started working as an associate director / writer and experienced in different kind of film making like, feature films, documentaries, biography films, music videos, ad films etc. In this journey she gets an opportunity to assist some international filmmakers.
