Rian Apriansyah

Rian Apriansyah is an independent filmmaker from Bangka Island, Indonesia. He has studied film at Akademi Komunikasi Indonesia and currently he is taking (communication program) course at Sekolah Tinggi Pembangunan Masyarakat Desa (STPMD). He joined Montase Film Community since 2014. He is producing short films both with Montase and his independent production house, Becuasfilm. At Montase Film Community, he is actively involved in various activities in many divisions. In film production, he is also actively involved in directing, camera, sound, and editing. Some short films he directed, include Room 808 (2015), Ngelimbang (Becuasfilm/2015), Game (2015), Shortcuts (Becuasfilm/2016), 15.7 KM (Becuasfilm/2017) and also produced The Blank Horizon (Becuasfilm/2019). Ngelimbang is the first film produced in his hometown (Bangka Island), and already get dozens of awards, both national and international.
