David's most famous characters are D Jay the Clown And D Jay the Entertainer. D Jay has been an entertainer virtually his whole life, appearing on stage for the first time at the age of 5. D Jay is a graduate of the Toronto School of Drama, Leah Posluns Theatre School, Seneca College School of Television Production, Seneca College School of Clowning and Ed Meyers School of Magic. During the 1970's D Jay played guitar and sang as a solo act and with folk rock groups at coffee houses in Toronto and overseas and has appeared in many plays, television shows and movies including The D.J. Demers Show, Urban Legends, Million Dollar Neighborhood, Toronto's Got Talent, Planet Parent, TVO Kids, Global TV Morning Show, City TV news and Breakfast Television. As a Family Entertainer, D Jay has been voted one of Toronto's best 13 times and has performed more than 8,000 shows. He is a proud member of TCAFE (a Toronto based Family Entertainers' group where he has been a two time president), I.B.M. (International Brotherhood of Magicians), Hat & Rabbit Club and Clowns Canada (where he served as Vice President). D Jay has authored 2 books on magic, written articles for entertainment newsletters and has invented magic that is used by magicians worldwide.
