Levi Spellman

Born and raised in the "Rustbelt" of northeastern Ohio, Levi Spellman's early years paid witness to the beginning of the War on Drugs, the end of the Berlin Wall, and the indefensible cancellation of American Gladiators. While these events marked the beginning a cultural implosion that would shake rural American households for a generation, Levi and his three younger brothers weathered the storm on a raft crafted of imagination and worn-out VHS cassettes. Levi eventually managed to reach escape velocity some time in the late 1990s, despite the region's escalating socioeconomic collapse, and graduated from the Virginia Military Institute with a degree in international studies. Thereafter pursuing a career in strategic communications, his work in print and digital media helped shape his understanding of broad public tastes, informing and refining his creative style. When not obsessing over the cultural power of story, he continues to serve as a communications consultant in both the public and private sectors.
