Kim Timan

Biography

Kim is a creative producer, aspiring film director, and one of the many cogs in the advertising industry. She graduated with a degree in Film from De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde. The knowledge that she gained from the School of Slow Media's "Human-Centered Storytelling" workshops has largely influenced her and the way she creates and views films. Her film award-winning short, "Caramel Child (2017)," was nominated for Best Short Film in the 41st Gawad Urian in 2018. In October 2018, Kim won a grant which she used to produce her latest short film "Noontime Drama (Tanghaling Tapat)" starring Susan Africa and Zar Donato. It will have its debut screening at the CineMarya Women's Film Festival on October 2020.
