Alexi Liotti

With a background in high-end TV production in Vancouver, Canada, Alexi was captivated by documentary filmmaking after completing the Documentary Film Program at Capilano University, with an honors distinction. Alexi Liotti (BA) was mentored by award winning directors Michelle Mason and Jack Silberman - learning the ropes shooting and directing out in the field. Alexi's experience ranges from work on numerous music videos, television series, narrative features, docu-series and short to feature length documentary films, DP'ing, camera OP'ing, directing, lighting and drone OP'ing. Alexi's work can be seen online, on television and at festivals, including Netflix and Sundance Institute's co//lab. Alexi's insatiable passion for visual storytelling and social and environmental justice have led him to the directing of his debut feature documentary film, Rematriation - bringing him new accomplishments in directing, cinematography and producing. He has recently founded his Vancouver based production company, Kincentric Cinema.
