Yang Zhang

Yang Zhang is a Montreal filmmaker graduated from Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema. Born in China but moved to Canada during his teenage years, Yang grew up an outcast. Bearing multiple, sometimes conflicting identity, Yang became very sensitive to cultural, social and political topics of modern times. These insights, in turn, shapes his work.
