Curtis Shumaker

Curtis Shumaker is a writer, filmmaker, and University English Professor. He currently (2016) teaches at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona in the English and Foreign Languages Department. His writing focuses on the mythological, the esoteric, and often contains science fictional elements. Recent publications include articles, stories, and poetry in such forums as "Chess Life," "Archaeopteryx," and "Drawn to Marvel." His critical focus is on mythological and Native American fiction, as well as 20th-century American fiction and poetry.
