Nicolas Olivera

Nicolas Olivera was born in Bogota, Colombia. In 1992, when he was 14, Nicolas emigrated to Canada with his family, where he lived for 15 years. He studied music and earned a master's degree in classical guitar interpretation in 2006. In 2007, he decided to return to his roots in Bogota. Once back, he started a career in video production in a quest to learn more about his city and his country. He has directed and produced many independent projects including documentaries, music videos and short movies. 'Alba -' is his first short movie that will be distributed outside of Colombia. Always on the lookout for new stories that need to be heard. In 2016, he is developing new projects related to art, hip hop, and the challenges of life in Bogota.
