David Barrera

Producer Director and Screenwriter. David Barrera is the CEO, Producer and Executive Producer of MINDED, a creative production company specialized in features, and has worked with production teams around the world, collaborating with the main production companies and artists across the audiovisual market. He has several successfully completed international co-productions, all of which have a global vision of the film market. David Barrera has directed several productions that have all been well received by their audiences. In each of his projects he applies his unique poetic and conceptual vision enchanting the viewer with an artistic visual landscape. During the years and through the numerous audiovisual projects he has perfected his techniques and experimented with new innovative ways of telling a story. Highlighting a few projects David Barrera has produced films such as One Fine Day (2017) Directed by Asep Kusdinar starring Michelle Ziudith, Jefri Nichol shot entirely in Barcelona. Belok Kanan Barcelona (2018) Directed by Guntur Soeharjanto, filmed in London, Copenhagen, Marrakech, Jakarta, Paris and Barcelona. Transience (2018) Produced and Directed by David Barrera, with Maya Murofoshi and Max Hausman, shot in Tokyo, Shanghai, Los Angeles, New York, Las Vegas, Barcelona, Waikiki, Stockholm, Östersund, Dubai. Limbo (2018) Produced and Directed by David Barrara, with Sergio Mariottini and Alejandro Bordanove, shot between Spain and Colombia, as well as the latest documentary series "In Our Blood" (2019) for the sports giant DAZN. Currently he has 10 active projects with MINDED, that are to be shot for the next few years. David Barrera is currently presenting his latest film titled "LIMBO" in festivals, which was filmed with MINDED in the month of January 2019. From previous projects he has won the INVI (International Award for Audiovisual Innovation) awards given by RTVE - TV1, and currently continues to receive prizes and nominations from film festivals around the world for his latest films JEALOUSY, TRANSIENCE and LIMBO «the edge of hell».
