Lilu Scott

Biography

Lilu is a Canadian/American singer and actress. She was born in Sonoma, California, then moved to Vancouver Island where she has grown up. She is of Swedish/Welsh and Hungarian descent. Lilu has inherited a deep love of the performing arts from her grandfather, Rick Scott, and began performing onstage with him from the age of one. Rick is an alumnus of Vancouver's Arts Club Theatre, a member of folk trio The Pie Pumkin String Ensemble, and a family entertainer. Lilu has studied classical voice for seven years. She has also studied contemporary music with the composer J. Douglas Dodd. Although theatre & musical theatre has been a passionate pursuit of Lilu's, she hopes to one day work with director Wes Anderson on a film project. Lilu has a keen interest in the human condition and dives deeply into challenging characters. Her portrayal of Asia who suffers from auditory hallucination, in the stage play The Scandinavian Sleep Clinic, sparked her interest in psychology. In her spare time, Lilu enjoys illustrating, ultimate Frisbee, surfing, writing songs and cooking.
