Charles Olsen

Charles is a producer, director, and screenwriter from Bondi Beach, Australia. Charles has produced, written, directed, and/or edited eleven short films, which have screened and won awards at Flickerfest, Canberra Short Film Festival, and Sydney Indie Film Festival. He has also written a feature screenplay titled 'Pill Mill', a thriller about the opioid pharmaceutical sales industry, which appeared in the trending top ten on the Black List website in 2020. Charles holds a Master of Arts Screen: Producing at the Australian Film Television and Radio School as well as an AFTRS short course certificate in Directing, a BA(Hons) in creative writing and film studies, and a law degree. He has worked in Toronto on feature films, TV, commercials, and online video content, for Netflix Canada and McCann Canada among others.
