Alexander Frost

Alexander Frost is a British filmmaker based in the UK. Born in Jordan, Alexander Frost knew from the moment that he watched Star Wars (1977), that all he wanted to do was be a film director. Immersing himself in film from a young age, Alexander watched a whole range of genre movies from the critically acclaimed The Godfather (1972), The Orphanage (2007), True Romance (1993) and Seven (1997). Alexander has come to love to films from all over the world. Mirror Images was selected and shown at the Cannes Film Festival, and drew numerous plaudits from audiences and industry professionals. Following on from Mirror Images, Alexander then went on to direct his final short film called Kick About. The film was about knife crime in urban London. The film was selected for the New York City International Film Festival, it was praised by audiences and judges for it's realistic portrayal on young inner city kids trapped in gun violence. The film was then selected for consideration by the Academy Awards. Following on from the success of his shorts, Alexander is about to direct his debut feature film called The Estate, a psychological thriller.
