Terry Groves

Terry was born in Belgium to Canadian parents. His father was in the Canadian Air Force, stationed in France. On return to Canada in 1959 they moved to Winnipeg Manitoba then to Clinton Ontario. Terry attended high school at Lasalle Secondary in Kingston for 2 years then Bayside Secondary in Belleville Ontario. Terry was the third of six boys. Following high school he joined the Canadian Forces and served for 26 years. He then returned to school, graduating from Conestoga College in Waterloo with distinction as a Software Engineering Technician. Terry was one of the founding members and an original Board member of the VI Film and Entertainment Co-op on Vancouver Island. With that group he wrote screenplays, acted, directed and did camera and sound work on many projects. Terry has published numerous short stories. In 2016 he resided on Vancouver Island.
