Sam Gall

Sam Gall is a filmmaker who grew up in Ojai, California. Was born in Vietnam and moved to Ojai when he was 3 months old. He's had a long love for film since he was 12 years old and studied screenwriting at Santa Barbara City College. He worked at the Ojai Film Society as their projectionist until he met with documentary directors/producers Rebecca & Josh Tickell working at their production studio called Big Picture Ranch. He describes it as his true film school because he was able to do a little bit of everything and have hands-on learning in each department. From there he met one of their lead editors, Ryan A. Nichols, who had written a screenplay called "Loved Ones" that Sam found a strong interest in and wanted to help make. A few months later they set off to shoot their short film, Ryan as writer/director and Sam as executive producer/producer. They are now in post production working hard to share their passion project with the world.
