Maysaa Almumin

Maysaa is a Kuwaiti architect, designer and filmmaker. She has directed a number of short films J'ai le Cafard (Bint Werdan) (2020) 2020, ...And I Was Left Behind (2021) 2021 and Musing in the Desert (2020) 2020. Her films have been official selections at Tampere International Film Festival, Malmo Arab Film Festival and Cinefantasy International Fantastic Cinema. In 2021, Maysaa was named Arab Star of Tomorrow by Screen International. Maysaa has also been involved in a number of films as an actress, producer and art director, Egypt, Italy, Qatar and Kuwait.
