Kristin Coral

Biography

Kristin Coral was born in Queens, NY to Ecuadorian parents. She started taking acting and auditioning classes in 2015 with Ilene Starger. She went on to do background work, while studying at AMAW (Anthony Meindl's Actor Workshop) in Manhattan. She found her passion for Film and TV through intense Scene Study and Cold Read classes with Anthony Meindl, Jason Buyer and Purva Bedi. In 2016, she played the role of Kathryn in the short film The Recipe, directed by Billy Kearney. In between classes and auditions, Kristin went on to use her voice as a host for her podcast, The Red Light Special R&B Podcast with co-host Rob Markman. She found a way to tell hers and others stories through interviews. In 2017, she was cast as the "Latina Cashier" in the short film Sweatpants directed by Sophia Paulmier. She has gained a love for short and independent films and the form of storytelling they hold. As of 2019, Kristin is travel vlogging on Youtube through her brand, Coral Footsteps. She hopes to start doing charity work through her travels while telling the stories of other creatives and showing their culture/lifestyle. Kristin is also taking classes and online workshops for voiceover work through companies like AGR (Actor's Green Room).
