Furaha Bayibsa

Furaha Bayibsa is a Writer, Director, and Producer who is striving to normalize the idea of young colored women in cinema with above-the-line positions. She's a filmmaker born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden, who attended film school in 2015 in Los Angeles where she studied filmmaking. Between 2019 and 2020, while the feature film Landfill she produced was in post-production, Furaha wrote and self published three novellas with topics covering social injustice and mental health.
