Caio Cortonesi

Caio Cortonesi is a film director, writer and musician. Born in May 1983 in Brasília, Brazil, to a civil servant and a systems analyst, he first became known in the 2000's as a prominent music producer, working with several dozen rock acts from Brazil and abroad. In parallel to his recording studio he began pursuing a film career by working as an editor and post technician in TV and advertisement for a few years until he began directing in 2009. Since then he directed, wrote, photographed and edited countless music videos and commercials, as well as several short films. A self-taught director and writer, Caio Cortonesi is also an actor and composer.
