Donia Kash

A nomadic Persian, born in Greece, Donia relocated to Canada as a young child, where their love for creative performance started early. Their love of the spotlight was sparked by their professional debut in a local Meat Shop commercial at age 7. After that first starring role, which aired on the local Persian channel, they were hooked. After graduating from high school in Vancouver, BC, Donia pursued formal studies in acting for stage and screen at Capilano University. Over the past decade, they have collaborated on a wide range of theater, commercials, and film productions. What Donia is about = Movement, humor, connection, and always showing up with commitment, kindness, and enthusiasm. Donia is a 4th degree black belt, talented dancer, and choreographer, and enthusiastic observer of the unique ways we each move through the world. These observations are incorporated into the unique physicality Donia brings to every project. Donia is motivated and inspired by creative connection, authentic relationships, continuous learning, and unexpected moments of humor and human-ness.
