Micki Selvitella

Biography

Micki Selvitella is a Writer, Director, Actor, Producer, Artist and Educator with a long career in Film, Theatre, Music, Poetry, Languages and the Visual Arts. She is the Writer/Director/Producer of the independent short film "Janie's Last Stand", and Writer/Director for the web series "F22". A prolific poet, two lines of her poetry have been stamped into the concrete at two light rail stations in Portland, Oregon. As a visual artist (photography, pastels, pottery and collage), Micki's work has been seen at the prestigious Portland Saturday Market, exhibited in galleries, and is in private collections around the world. A native Bostonian, she is a graduate of Clark University, the Yale School of Drama, and holds an MFA in Directing from Ohio University. She is a Fulbright scholar (Taiwan), and is also the recipient of an SDC Observership (Seattle). She is a member of Directors Lab West (Los Angeles) and Willamette Writers (Portland).
