Paul Layzell

Paul Layzell is an animation director and illustrator based in London, UK. Raised in Cardiff, Wales he went on to the University of Brighton where he graduated from the Illustration BA in 2011. He then moved to London where he started working on various animation and illustration projects. He collaborates with his brother and fellow animation director, Matt Layzell, and after directing and producing various music videos and short films as a director duo, the brothers united and formed 'Layzell Bros' in 2012. Paul has gone on to direct award-winning commercials, notably winning the Cannes Lion Grand Prix in 2016, and has worked on titles such as Cartoon Network's 'Apple and Onion', Nickelodeon's 'Sanjay and Craig' and Hulu's 'I Love You America with Sarah Silverman'.
