Originally from Flint, MI, Sheila Jaye is a trained actress for film and television. A graduate of Georgia State Universities Film and Video Production program (BA), with a concentration in Theatre, Sheila grew up in Atlanta, GA performing at the Southside Theatre Guild. It was there where Sheila discovered her knack for writing, and producing content, by co-producing, "Trouble at Liberty Bank," a stage play with her colleague. Sheila has appeared in several independent films, and new media projects such as,"Hi Sweetie". A 80's period piece where she played the role of Rhonda. As well as most recently, producing her own Sag-Aftra pilot episode called,"Jane and Marlow," releasing in 2020. After studying with Ben Guillory in Los Angeles, at the well known Robey Theatre Company, sheila was thrilled to be casted as Aya, in the afro-futuristic film "Mino". This film has gone on to be screen at various festivals across the United States. As well as internationally at the, "Out of Africa International Film Festival", in Nairobi, Kenya. When not performing, you can catch Sheila practicing her horse back riding skills outside of the city, or sipping on a latte at one of her fave coffee shops!
