Alexandros Sikalias

Alexander Sikalias was born in 1997 in Athens, Greece where he is still living. From a very young age he showed a preference in arts and especially in cinema. After high school he studied Cinema, Film Directing and Production at AKMI VTI, in Athens. In 2017 he completed his thesis and first short film, "Fabrika/The Factory (2017)". Since the age of 17 - and especially after his studies - he has cooperated with many professional cinematographers, as an assistant director, location scouter and miscellaneous crew. As a hobby Alexander is filming various everyday life's situations but mostly, railways and landscapes. This is the reason for keeping a rich location archive participating and helping various small or large productions in cooperation with Hellenic Railways Organization.
