Jane Ray is a multi-award winning documentary-maker and producer. In July 1987, Jane joined the BBC as a local radio reporter and then as a producer before moving into a management position as the Head of Compliance for Content and Production at BBC Worldwide. From 2014 to 2015, she was the Editorial Guardian for BBC Worldwide responsible for editorial standards and practices across the global channels and content production. In 2015, she started her own media consultancy company, Cat Flap Media. In 2015, Jane co-created The Whickers' World Foundation, which was funded posthumously by Alan Whicker. The Foundation aims to empower the next generation of independent, international documentary makers. She is the Foundation's Consultant Artistic Director.
