Taixa Lenid

Born Taixa Lenid Hernandez in Hartford CT to a working class Puerto Rican family she learned at an early age the value of hard work and sacrifice. She began working at the age of 14 where she started to pay bills to help out her family. At the age of 19 she joined the army national guard and has been deployed twice to Iraq, through her experience in the military she became more assertive and courageous not allowing her fears to keep her from things she wanted to accomplish. She began her path with plus size modeling, modeling for companies such as Fashion to Figure, Pro 180, Davids Bridals and Lord & Taylor's to name a few which led her to the world of acting. Taixa has managed to get a bachelors degree in Criminology from CCSU. She is also an entrepreneur for a multi level marketing travel company which is one of her passions and plans on continuing with her other passion of acting.
