Caity Redfern

Biography

Caity Redfern, a native of San Francisco, now calls New York City home. She is thrilled to have studied her craft at UNCSA and Interlochen Arts Academy/Camp. Her past favorite roles include Blanche Dubois in A Streetcar Named Desire, Eva Perón in Evita and Dot/Marie in Sunday in the Park with George. She is the proud Co-Founder/Board Member/Artistic Director of Gatehouse Theatre Company in San Francisco. Caity is also the published author of the highly acclaimed children's book, Multicolored Kid. She has originated roles in a cast album, a TV show and a movie. She is deeply involved with Broadway Dreams Foundation and she is also an avid volunteer and teacher for theatre for disabled children. She was most recently a featured singer in Carnegie Hall at the New York Pops Birthday Celebration.
