Matt Everitt

Matt Everitt is a Sundance Directors Workshop director, where he work shopped his next short You Can Go Home Whenever You Want. He's worked extensively in the music industry, touring with The Revivalists, Mt. Joy, and Xavier Omar, doing both photo and video work. He's also music videos for Michigander, Mt. Joy, and Xavier Omar. His first short film, Southampton, was selected for the 2020 BLOW-UP · International Arthouse Filmfest Chicago and received an Honorable Mention at Macoproject Film Festival 2021. His second short film, Waffle Home, won the jury prize at Central Michigan International Film Festival in 2022, finalist at the Royal Star Film Festival, won Best Screenplay at the Grand Rapids Film Festival, in addition to being featured as the short of the week on Film Shortage.
