Born in Port-au-Prince (Haiti), Gilbert Mirambeau Jr. is a writer and producer. After completing his high school at St-Louis de Gonzague in Haiti, he moves to Montreal to study marketing at the University of Montreal. He works for about seven years in the corporate world and then returns to Haiti to follow his dream: making films. After a year of freelancing, Gilbert is hired as the main writer and one of the producers of Muska Group, a leading audiovisual production company in Haiti. For three years, he writes and produces Tv commercials, corporate films, jingles and a TV show for children entitled Lakou Kajou. In 2015, he co-founded Muska Films to develop the Haitian film industry. Today, Gilbert focuses on writing and producing heartfelt movies with Muska Films.
